Who is behind this website?
We are just a bunch of Management and Software Professionals trying to make a positive difference to the society!

And what are you trying to do?
There are various websites for customers abroad that provide them an easy way of learning about offers and discounts in their favourite neighbourhood stores. However, there are not many such sites for India. And the few sites that do exist are either outdated, or not frequently updated. We believed it is time to develop such websites for our country as well. We are a Shopping Information Services Provider and we have conceived this website as a one-stop shop for all those seeking information on any discounts across the country.

How do you get to know about the discounts on this site?
When we were in our initial stages after our launch, we had various sources from which we gathered the discounts information. However, due to the rising popularity and pageviews that our site has been receiving over the past few months, many Retailers, Dealers and Store Owners directly contact us to give their information on a regular basis.

Are the discounts on this website valid?
Absolutely! Every discount or offer posted on this website is verified with the Retailers themselves. We do not post any discount without verifying all the details with the Retailers.

However, we are human and errors might creep in however hard we try. If you find any errors in the details provided here and the actual discount provided by the Retailer, please bring it to our notice and we will ensure it is corrected immediately.

How many Retailers provide information to you?
We currently have over 800 Retailers who are happy to provide us their discount information on a regular basis. We are also constantly expanding with newer Retailers being approached everyday.

What are the discount Categories that you cover?
We don’t intend to confine ourselves to certain discount Categories only. We plan to provide information for any discounts that a customer would be interested in. Please check out the Left Menu of our Website for the various Categories for which we presently have discounts.

How often are the discounts updated?
Everyday. Yes, we update our website with new discounts on a daily basis. (We also regularly check if there are extension of dates for discounts that are close to expiry.) Now you know why it makes sense to check our website frequently!! :)

Is there a way I can keep track of the discounts without visiting the website regularly?
Sure! You can do so in several ways.

Note: We are thoughtful enough not to overwhelm your Inbox/Cell phone with too many messages. Hence, we send only 1-2 email messages / 1-2 SMS every week.

If I don’t want to remain subscribed to the above services, can I unsubscribe?
Yes, of course! We constantly strive to provide the best service possible. However, if you wish to unsubscribe for any reason, you can do so anytime.

What do you gain from this?
Job satisfaction – no kidding! Apart from satisfaction, we are also happy to admit that we are looking to a fair bit of profit in the process. ;)

This is a Free service now. Will you make this a paid service in the future for customers?
No, we plan to keep this as a Free service for customers.


Website Update

I am a retailer. How do I send my discounts information to you?
There are several ways in which you can do this.

  • You can email your discount details to us at advertise@discountsvu.com.
  • Or you can call us at +91-44-3246 4422. Our representative would be happy to take down your details and update your discounts to our site ASAP.
  • We are coming up with a way of updating your Discount details online in our website.

Note that, whichever option you choose, we will still verify your discount details by contacting you and we update it to our website only after the verification.

I am not a Retailer but I heard about some discounts via a source that I want to share with you. How can I do that?
Same as above. Please mention clearly that you are not a Retailer so that we can treat the information accordingly.
