Do I need to register on your website to buy products?


By registering on our website, you enable us to remember your basic details (such as email address, shipping and billing address etc), so that you don’t need to enter these details every time you shop with us. Providing us with your basic contact information allows us to contact you regarding your order status, or in the unlikely event that an order could not be processed.

How safe is my personal information with you?


We respect your right to privacy, and treat your personal information securely. We do not share your personal information with third parties (unless required by you or by law). Read our Privacy Policy for further details.



How safe is it to shop online with you?


We use the best and most secure Payment Gateway in India, EBS. The EBS Payment gateway is 128 bit SSL Verisign Secured and uses the ‘Verified by Visa’ and ‘MasterCard Securecode’ enabled gateway for additional protection. EBS is also the first Indian merchant account provider to achieve the new PCI DSS 1.1 Standards of Compliance for MasterCard and Visa.


DiscountsVu® does not save any of your credit card/debit card or Netbanking information, and you will provide this only to EBS for payment.




How can I make my online shopping even more safe?


We have provided you general tips for secure online shopping.

  1. Make sure you use a secure web site to enter credit / debit card information. Look for a padlock symbol in the bottom right of the browser window and for the website address to begin with ‘https://’. You can verify this on DiscountsVu® / EBS Payment Gateway while entering your payment details.
  2. If you are using the latest browser technology and the online store has the latest website security, known as an Extended Validation SSL Certificate, your address bar may turn green when you are on a secure site. You can verify this on DiscountsVu® / EBS Payment Gateway while entering your payment details.
  3. An excellent security feature that credit card companies provide is to create another level of security by adding an additional password. An example of this is ‘Verified by Visa’ or ‘MasterCard Secure Code’. This is an optional feature available on only selected websites or payment processing systems. You can activate this feature through your Credit Card company, and when you shop on sites that have this enabled, the checkout process will require you to enter the password you set up in order to authorize your purchase. This feature is enabled on DiscountsVu® / EBS Payment Gateway for additional security.
  4. Credit cards tend to offer more protection than debit cards as they don't directly remove funds from your own bank account. Also, most Credit Cards offer Fraud Protection. At DiscountsVu®, we accept payments from various Credit Cards such as Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club.



Ordering



How do I order a product? Can I order multiple products together?


Ordering products is very simple. From the Product page, you can click on the ‘Buy Now’ button to add the product to your Shopping Cart, and to proceed to Checkout. You can also click on ‘Add to Cart’ to add the product to your Shopping Cart and to continue your shopping. Once you have added all the products you need, you can click on ‘Show Cart’ to view your cart and proceed to payment.




I want to gift a product to someone. Can I mark an order as a gift?


Yes. In the final page of the Checkout, you have an option to leave us a note with your order. You can enter a note here that the order is a gift. (Note:Please ensure the billing address is the address listed for your Credit / Debit Card / Netbanking, and that the shipping address is the address of the actual recipient.)

Do you ship to my city?


At present, we ship all over India. We do not ship outside India.



How much do you charge for Shipping?


We do not charge a flat shipping cost. In order to provide you the cheapest shipping cost, the shipping charge will vary by the product(s) you have chosen and your shipping location. You can view the total shipping charge for your order on the Checkout page after adding products to your shopping cart.



What is your shipping method?


We have tied up with some of India's largest Domestic Delivery Network Companies to ensure fast and safe delivery of your order. We ship through either of

Tracking Order



How soon will I receive my order?


The time taken for you to receive the products you have ordered will depend on your shipping location. We will send you an email as soon as the product is shipped and you can track your order.



How can I track my order?


You can check the status of your order (Confirmed/ Shipped etc) after logging into our website on the ‘My Account’ page. Once your order is shipped, we will contact you and provide you your tracking number, using which you can track the location of the physical package.



Returns, Refunds, Exchanges and Cancellations


Can I cancel my order after placing it?


Yes, you can cancel your order if the cancellation request is made within 24 hours of placing the order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the DiscountsVu® Inventory team and they have initiated the process of shipping them.



Can I return any product(s)?


Yes. Our 10-day returns policy means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 10 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact, clothing must have labels attached) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.


We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty, damaged or defective. Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 10 days unless they are faulty.




Can I exchange any product(s)?


In the unlikely event that you have received a damaged or defective product, we will be happy to exchange that for a fresh product. If the product you have received is not damaged, we will be unable to exchange it for another.


If you feel that the product received is not as shown on our website or as per your expectations, please call our Customer Service Team within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team will take an appropriate decision after looking into your complaint.


Please note that cancellations are not possible for those products that our Marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine's Day etc. These are limited occasion offers acquired under special circumstances and therefore cancellations are not possible.


Tax


All the prices mentioned are inclusive of all taxes except Octroi

Any Octroi Charged in any State will be paid by the Buyer and paid directly to the courier company

Do the products sold by DiscountsVu® carry any Warranty or Guarantee?


Most of the branded products sold by DiscountsVu® carry a Warranty or Guarantee directly from the manufacturer or company.



Will I receive the exact product as shown in the product image?


We take great care to deliver the item exactly as it is displayed on our website. However, as mentioned in our ‘Terms and Conditions’, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the product images or product description listed in our website, as much of the information is provided by third party, or suppliers. However, we do our best to avoid inaccurate or incomplete data.


If you feel that the product received is not as shown on our website or as per your expectations, please call our Customer Service Team within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team will take an appropriate decision after looking into your complaint.

Can I pay via Credit Card?


Yes, we accept Credit Card payments for Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club credit cards.




Can I pay via Debit Card?


Yes, we accept Debit Card payments from over 50 banks in India. The current list is below.

Can I pay via Netbanking?


Yes, we accept payments using Netbanking from Axis Bank, Citibank, Federal Bank, J & K Bank.




What other payment methods do you accept?


In addition to Credit Cards, Debit Card and Netbanking, we also accept Itz Cash Card as a payment method. You can also make direct Bank Transfer.

Can I pay through Cheque/DD?


Although Cheque / DD is not a regular payment method, we may be able to accept your request under exceptional circumstances. Please contact our Customer Care team with your request who will process it on a case-by-case basis.




Can I pay through Cash-on-Delivery option?


Unfortunately, we do not accept Cash-on-Delivery (COD) option at this time.




My Credit / Debit Card payment was declined. Why?


If your Credit / Debit Card payment was declined, you need to contact the issuing bank for the Credit / Debit card to find the reason. To protect your security and privacy, your bank cannot provide us with information about why your payment was declined. Because of this, you would need to contact your bank directly to solve your payment issues.
